  • Be a safe and inclusive collective for Promise scholars to be in community with each other and utilize resources
  • Provide insights into navigating college pathways and leveraging Promise opportunities
  • Foster personal and academic growth through building long-lasting connections

How it Works
  • Sign Up: Submit the mentoring sign-up form to describe who you are and when you’re available.
  • Matching: Our team carefully matches you with a Peer Navigator based on shared interests, academic goals, career aspirations, and the most important things that matter to you.
  • Convos: Peer Navigators and Promise Scholars meet regularly for conversations about college life, Seattle-living, and aspirational goals. You choose how often to meet.
  • Social Events: Attend socials and networking opportunities to get to know fellow Promise Scholars from all three colleges and professional guest speakers.

Answer:  Our team carefully matches scholars with a Peer Navigator based on shared interests, academic goals, and career aspirations. Important factors that matter to you should be noted in the sign-up form for our team to match you as closely as possible to a Peer Navigator that most fits.

Answer:  Yes, we understand that compatibility is crucial. If you feel the need for a change, please reach out to our program coordinator below, and we'll do our best to reevaluate the match.

Answer:  You have the flexibility to choose how often you meet with your Peer Navigator. The program is designed to accommodate your preferences and schedule. We recommend meeting with your Peer Navigator about once each month.

Answer:  Peer Navigators and mentees can engage in regular convos about various aspects of college life, Seattle living, and aspirational goals that are respectful in nature and inclusive to all.

Answer:  The program is designed to be flexible, allowing you to participate based on your availability and preferences. There are no requirements to join and no given commitments, but we recommend meeting with your Peer Navigator about once each month.

Answer:  Signing up by form submission will initiate your participation in the mentorship programs. Please allow 5-7 business days for an introduction email from your Peer Navigator with day, time and location for the first meeting/convo.

Answer:  As long as you need it! It varies based on your individual needs and preferences. It is a dynamic and ongoing support system throughout your college journey that ends upon graduation.

Answer:  In addition to the guidance from Peer Navigators, the program offers access to resources that support academic success, personal development, and information on various college services.

Answer:  Absolutely! The Mentorship Program is open to full, part-time and deferred Promise scholars who are taking a quarter break from classes.
