Class of 2022 High School Seniors

Questions? Contact your high school Seattle Promise outreach specialist for assistance.

Next Steps

  • The Seattle Promise Fall 2022 application is closed. Application for next year's Seattle public high school Class of 2023 will open Fall 2022.

Tips:

  • Missed the Seattle Promise deadline?
Seattle Promise is just one funding option available at Seattle Colleges. Apply for scholarships and financial aid at the Seattle College of your choice - North, Central or South. Applications for the Seattle Colleges Foundation Scholarship are now open. Apply by April 13, 2022.

  • Want to Check Your Seattle Promise Application Status?
Contact your outreach specialist to be sure we received your Seattle Promise and Seattle College applications. They can also confirm you applied to the college you plan to attend this fall (North, Central, or South Seattle College).
  • Complete the 2022-23 FAFSA or WASFA - due April 30, 2022
  • Use the same email address you used on your Seattle Promise and College Admissions (North, Central, South) applications.
  • Use your legal name on all of your applications. Make sure you used the exact same spelling for your name, too. For example: "Gallegos-Hernandez" is not the same as "Gallegos Hernandez."
  • Make sure you have your FAFSA or WASFA sent to the Seattle College you plan to attend this fall (North, Central, or South Seattle College). We won't receive it unless you tell FAFSA/WASFA to send your information to us.
  • You are required to attend one Readiness Academy event at the Seattle College where you plan to enroll this fall (North, Central, or South Seattle College). Unless specified otherwise, events are in-person and on-campus.
  • Readiness Academy is where you'll meet other Seattle Promise scholars, learn how your scholarship works, and register for fall 2022 classes. Dates are below.
  • Before your Readiness Academy event, make sure you:
    • Activate your ctcLink account.
    • Complete math and English placement (if needed, your Outreach Specialist will let you know if you need to do this).
    • Have an Ed Plan (if you've earned more than 15 college-level credits through Running Start, your Running Start manager or Seattle Promise Retention Specialist will contact you about this).
    • Check your email regularly - that's where we'll send important event to-dos and updates.
