My name is Der Yang and I am a Retention Specialist for the Seattle Promise Program at North Seattle College. I advise Seattle Promise students studying Social Science, Humanities & Language. As a Retention Specialist I am here to support Seattle Promise students and provide a comprehensive advising experience for course enrollment, educational planning, funding resources and addressing academic concerns.
Prior to joining the Seattle Promise team, I worked at the University of Minnesota providing integrated student services and helping students navigate their college experience. I am excited to be a part of North Seattle College and can't wait to meet you.
