Maintain Your Eligibility

You've worked hard to become a Seattle Promise scholar. To remain eligible, scholars are required to attend the following events and check-ins as well as maintain good class attendance and academic standing. Scholars must also register full-time each quarter and complete the appropriate financial aid applications for their second year.

Below you can find your graduation date and corresponding Seattle Promise deadlines.

By May 1, 2026Confirm the college you are attending (North, Central, or South) and complete placement for classes (recommended).
April 30, 2026Submit 2026-27 FAFSA (opens in new tab) or WASFA (new tab) application.
May-June, 2026Attend Readiness Academy* *Students must have completed English and math placement to participate. Running Start students must have a completed Ed Plan to participate.
June 2026Graduate from a Seattle Public High School (new tab).
By July 31, 2026Submit any supporting documents requested by the financial aid office (work with the Outreach Specialist in your high school to verify completion).
August and September, 2026Attend Campus Connect1-day orientation
September 2026On the first day of Fall Quarter attend and log in to all your classes.
