Number of Graduates
Seattle Colleges — North Seattle College, Seattle Central College, South Seattle College — will graduate more than 3,200 students in June 2022.
- More than 1,000 (1,075) are first generation
- Just under 2,000 (1,926) are students of color

A majority of our students, 43 percent (7 percent higher than the statewide average of 36 percent) will graduate and transfer to a university to complete their four-year degree.

June 21 Commencement Ceremony
- We expect approximately 1,000 graduates to gather in-person with family and friends to walk at the Seattle Colleges Commencement ceremony on June 21, 2022 at T-Mobile Park.
- More than 80 Seattle Colleges faculty and staff volunteer to make the Seattle Colleges Commencement a memorable celebration for graduates and guests.
Seattle Promise Graduates
185 Seattle Promise students are graduating in the Class of 2022.
- Central - 74

Seattle Promise students are completing at a rate two times higher than the national community college two-year average. Seattle Promise reports a 29 percent two-year completion rate and a 37 percent 3-year completion rate in contrast to the 13 percent national two-year average and 22 percent national three-year average.
Seattle Promise graduates are beginning to register for classes in their bachelor’s program and line up summer internships. To augment these student endeavors, the program has strengthened partnerships with traditional 4-year institutions. Most notably, this year there is a dedicated advisor at the University of Washington working with Promise students to ensure credit transfer, financial support, and a smooth transition next Fall.
