We are excited to introduce you to the support services for faculty offered by Seattle Colleges’ eLearning department. The eLearning team is dedicated to empowering you with knowledge and skills to advance your teaching. We provide expertise on pedagogy and technology, including our Learning Management System (LMS).

Our team's expertise ranges from instructional design and instructional technology to Canvas administration:
LMS Admins: support for Canvas, Zoom, and Panopto
Instructional Technologists: help with educational tools and software, accessibility, and technology-related accommodations
Instructional Designers: collaborative projects and 1:1 help with course design, instructional materials, teaching practices, and digital accessibility
Support programs
Instructional Designers provide paid self-paced training in Canvas on a variety of topics as part of the LEAD program, as well as Guided Peer Course Review. We offer one-on-one consultations by appointment and small group workshops upon request.
Support materials for faculty include an in-house course design guide, course templates from our Canvas treasure trove. digital accessibilty checklists, and more. Don't hesitate to ask for specific tools to support your teaching.
Lastly, keep an eye out for live workshops during Professional Development Days, our annual Spring Yearbook, and special events.
