Course templates are part of eLearning’s ongoing work to assist faculty in developing course material in Canvas. We provide full course templates designed for engagement and equity. Templates include visually appealing homepages, assignment structures, student support, activities for community building, and more.

We invite you to browse our Canvas course templates. These templates are a product of student feedback concerning Canvas consistency and collaboration between instructional designers and faculty across Seattle Colleges.

You can import all or some parts of the template course shell and then customize it. Here is a handy how-to guide with the steps for copying content into your course.
