Register for Commencement
Commencement is a ceremony held each June. We gather together as Seattle Colleges (North, Central, and South) to honor graduates’ accomplishments and celebrate with family, friends, faculty and staff, and the community.
Prepare to Take Your Walk Across the Stage
Before you can participate in the commencement ceremony, hear your name read, and walk across the stage in your cap and gown, there are a few things to do:
1. Apply for Graduation
Graduation is the official process of earning a degree or certificate. When you apply to graduate, advisors and staff in the Registrar’s Office at your college check that all program requirements have been satisfied.
Students must have applied for graduation no later than Thursday, May 28, 2026 to ensure their name appears in the printed commencement program. Refer to your college’s graduation website for information about applying for graduation, deadlines, and related information. Contact your college's Registration Office if you have missed the deadline to apply for graduation.
2. Register for Commencement
If your graduation application has already been reviewed and approved by the Registrar’s Office at your college, you will receive an email from commencement@seattlecolleges.edu with the link to register to attend Commencement 2026. Watch your email (the email account you have listed in your ctcLink account) for an invitation to register for commencement starting the week of May 4, 2026.
Note: invitations will continue to roll out via email as graduation applications are processed. So, if you haven’t applied yet to graduate, complete that step as soon as possible.
When you register for commencement, you will select the ceremony – either 1 p.m. or 6 p.m. – you want to attend. As a starting point, we encourage graduates to attend the ceremony that matches the area of study of their degree or credential. However, graduates are welcome to choose the ceremony time that works best for them by indicating their preference when they register for commencement.

6 p.m. Ceremony
