Course Design
Overview
You can use the sub-navigation on the left under "Course Design" to find how-to guides on learning objective, assessment, rubrics, and more. Please also check out our accessible syllabus template and our course startup and review guide.
For paid professional development, you can sign up for LEAD self-paced and hybrid trainings. These are paid opportunities for faculty that cover a range of pedagogical and technical topics (Canvas use, AI, active learning, to name a few).
All resources serve as starting points. For support with implementation and questions, you can email or make an appointment with an Instructional Designer.
Resource Shells
Below is a handy collection of Canvas course shells for faculty, including a variety of templates, research, and tools that can make teaching more effective and engaging. If you have any problems accessing a shell, please email elearning@seattlecolleges.edu.
