Dear Colleagues,

We are finalizing the catering, room set-up, and agenda for Convocation 2023 next week. Please RSVP and sign up to lead and participate by Thursday, Sept. 14.

Opportunities to Lead and Participate

  • Faculty & Staff Led Workshops/Jam Sessions
Submit a proposal to lead a 30-minute “jam session” open to any topic of interest to employees districtwide. We encourage TED Talk type presentations that are short, topically focused, and engaging, with time for questions and discussion. This is an opportunity for faculty & staff to share their passions—related or unrelated to your role on campus—with the campus community.

  • Host a Table at the Information Fair
Host a table during lunch in the Brockey Center. This is an ideal time for organizations and units to display information and engage employees through tabling in the Brockey. We will manage the setup. You provide the information.

  • Volunteer to be a Networking Captain
Interested in getting your peers together districtwide? Volunteer to be a captain at your networking table and bring a group together. Discuss business as student services staff or math faculty. Or just take a moment to catch up as colleagues.

We are looking forward to seeing you next week on Tuesday, September 19 from 9 a.m. – 2:30 p.m. at South Seattle College’s Brockey Center.
