Beyond financial aid, there are many other sources of funding that can help you on your college journey.

Seattle Promise

Seattle Promise is a college tuition and success program that provides free tuition, equity scholarships, and dedicated student support and advising. All graduating seniors attending Seattle public high schools are eligible for the Seattle Promise program regardless of grade point average (GPA), income, ability, or country of birth.

Students must sign up for Seattle Promise while in high school.

College Bound

Eligible College Bound students who fulfill the program requirements get free public college tuition, or an equivalent amount for an approved private college or career school.

Workforce Education funding

Workforce Education programs can help you enter or reenter the workforce through career training and financial aid assistance. If you qualify, you may receive funding for tuition fees, textbooks, required supplies, transportation, and more.

Emergency Assistance

Each of the Seattle Colleges has emergency funding programs to assist students who are facing one-time, unforeseen financial hardship. These programs provide support to help you stay enrolled.

Funding for military-connected students

US military veterans and their dependents may be eligible for specific tuition benefits. Each of the Seattle Colleges has a dedicated office that helps military-connected students access these benefits.

Currently-enrolled students can find resources for all kinds of needs, both on- and off-campus using our interactive Directory of Resources. The resource directory is hosted through Canvas. Students will need to self-enroll in the course to access the content.
