- You are not meeting Satisfactory Academic Progress requirements.
- You have not set up your refund preference through BankMobile.
Set up your BankMobile account
Seattle Colleges partners with BankMobile Disbursements to issue financial aid and scholarship refunds. After you receive your award letter in ctcLink, set up a BankMobile account and select a refund reference.
Set up your BankMobile account
Follow the steps below to create your account and receive your refund:
The first time you are awarded at Seattle Colleges, BankMobile will send you information on selecting your refund via email and the mail. This contains important information and a personal code needed to set up your account. Look for an email from BankMobile, BMTechnologies, BTMX or First Carolina Bank.
Go to the BankMobile Refund Selection website (click the blue button above) and enter your personal code. If you don't have your personal code, you can still log in using your school email address and have a new code sent to you.
You must create a BankMobile profile by providing basic information including name, date of birth, and email address.
BankMobile offers several options for receiving your refund. Select the one that works best for you:
- Direct Deposit (ACH) to an Existing Bank Account: Have your refund transferred directly to your current checking or savings account.
- BankMobile Vibe Checking Account: Open a new checking account with BankMobile, where your refund will be deposited. This option provides access to a debit card, mobile banking, and other features.
- Paper Check: If you prefer, you can opt to receive a paper check mailed to your address. This option may take longer than the electronic methods and is subject to an USPS delays.
If you selected the BankMobile Vibe Checking Account, you’ll receive a debit card in the mail. Follow the instructions provided to activate your card and set up your PIN.
You can check the status of your refund anytime by logging into your BankMobile account. You’ll receive notifications via email or text message when your refund has been processed and disbursed.
