Project Baldwin
A mentoring initiative for first-generation and/or income-limited students to increase retention and completion rates for all students while addressing the male achievement gap
Named in honor of beloved elder James Baldwin, the celebrated American author and activist, Project Baldwin is a mentoring initiative for first-generation and/or income-limited students attending Seattle Colleges to provide support, funding resources, and mentorship for Seattle Colleges’ affinity mentorship group initiatives and address the male achievement gap. Project Baldwin is a collective of students, staff and faculty who connect to empower. We are here to build community and boost completion and transfer outcomes for Project Baldwin Scholars.
