Join us for networking sessions
During Networking Week, sessions will be held focused on different areas of study each day.
- Business and Accounting / Culinary, Hospitality, and Wine - Monday, Jan. 30, 2023
- Arts, Design & Graphics, Humanities & Language, Education & Human Services/ Social Sciences - - Tuesday, Jan 31, 2023
- STEM & Skilled Trades - Wednesday, Feb 1, 2023
- Health & Medical - Thursday, Feb 2, 2023
Students & Alumni: Sign up to participate
Students and alumni are encouraged to sign up ahead of time, as this is the only way that Seattle Central staff can match you (to the best of our ability) with a professional who aligns with your interests. However, advanced sign up is not required.
Networking sessions timing & details
Each hour-long session will include three 15-minute opportunities for Networking Hosts and students to connect. In just one hour, you'll get to talk to three different professionals within your field of study!
- Session 1: 10:30 to 11:30 a.m.
- Session 2: 12 to 1 p.m.
- Session 3: 2 to 3 p.m.
- Session 4: 5 to 6 p.m.
How to prepare for networking sessions:
- Review Networking 101 Cheatsheet and remember to
- Know how to introduce yourself
- Have questions prepared that you are genuinely curious about
- If possible, create a basic LinkedIn profile:
- Your full name and what you are studying / field you hope to enter
- A photo of you
