Students, Alumni & instructors

Explore careers & network with professionals

Career Connections week is a great professional development opportunity for students and recent alumni to meet and learn from industry professionals in our city.

Students & Alumni: Sign up to participate

Students and alumni are encouraged to sign up ahead of time, as this is the only way that Seattle Central staff can match you (to the best of our ability) with a professional who aligns with your interests. However, advanced sign up is not required.

Instructors & Programs: Sign up your students

Our annual networking event will be held from Monday, Jan. 30 to Thursday, Feb. 2, 2023. It's a great opportunity in alignment with Guided Pathways for students to meet with professionals to explore and inform career paths.

Each campus Career Center as well as Seattle Colleges staff have partnered to be available whenever works best for your class schedule during the month of January.

Sign up your Winter Quarter class

If you’d like to incorporate networking training prior to the event, we can join your class in January to prep students to make the most of this.

Depending on your needs/timing, we can do anything from a 10-15 minute "Networking 101" to a longer 30-40 minute conversation with more practice and career exploration components. The Career Exploration Center and Strategic Partnerships are partnering to make this available whenever works best for your class schedule. Sign up for "Networking 101" training.
