Seattle Colleges is implementing an immediate spending freeze across all campuses. This action aligns with the approved FY27 Operating Budget and our budget reduction directive from the Board of Trustees.

• Objective: Immediately reduce FY27 operating budget expenses to meet Board of Trustee reduction targets.
• General Restriction: Halts personnel hiring, travel, services contracts, and equipment purchases—including processes previously approved prior to this directive.
• Duration: Effective immediately until explicitly lifted.
