48th Annual Celebration
Our Annual Community Celebration of Martin Luther King Jr. took place on Friday, January 15. The program was streamed online at noon with an 11:30 a.m. preshow on Zoom before the program.
It’s our sincere hope that we replicated the fellowship, joy, and exuberance we normally enjoy when we gather at Mount Zion Baptist Church. Hosted by our friend Monique Ming Laven (evening anchor at KIRO-7), this year’s program will include the familiar voices of DaNell Daymon and Greater Works and feature a talk with Matías Valenzuela, PhD, the Director of Equity and Community Partnerships for Public Health—Seattle & King County.
