In accordance with state and federal law, the Seattle Community College District will provide family and medical leave for eligible employees.

This POLICY, together with its procedures is intended to provide guidance to SCCD in developing and administering the rights and obligations as they relate to the Federal Family and Medical Leave Act of 1995 and the state of Washington's Family Leave (RCW 49.78).
