The budget planning process at Seattle Colleges is a transparent and inclusive process that is managed by the College Council (or similar committee) at each college. Valued input is received form varied stakeholders, such as faculty and staff, community members, business partners, and the board of trustees.
Financial practices follow all financial policies and procedures.
2020 Budget Task Force
Seattle Colleges has formed a Strategic Budget Reductions and Future Planning Task Force. The group is charged with “reviewing all relevant financial data and making recommendations on reducing operational cost, raising efficiency, and identifying opportunities for future investment.”
