Seattle Colleges Financial Aid Refund
What are BankMobile disbursements?
Student refunds are issued through BankMobile, a third-party payment processing company. For more information about BankMobile Disbursements, visit BankMobile: How it works.
You can also learn about BankMobile at your college on your campus Financial Aid website:

Update: May 27, 2026
Due to new system requirements, Seattle Colleges students must have a current cell phone number and mailing address listed in ctcLink to receive a refund from the college.
BankMobile will implement new security measures starting in early June 2026 requiring students to receive information via their cell phone and, in some cases, their mailing address.
Update your information in ctcLink as soon as possible to ensure a timely refund. We encourage you to take this step even if you aren’t expecting a financial aid refund. Workforce Education grants, scholarships, Emergency Assistance, and overpayment refunds use BankMobile disbursements.
How to update your information in ctcLink
Log into ctcLink and select the “Profile” tile. Confirm or add your cell phone number, email address, and mailing address. Be sure to select “Mobile” from the Phone Type drop-down menu when inputting your cell phone number. A video tutorial is available in the ctcLink Reference Center. If you need assistance with ctcLink, visit the ctcLink Help Resources page.
How to get help if you don’t have a cell phone and/or mailing address
You still have options, and we can help. Students without a cell phone number and/or mailing address can still receive BankMobile refunds but will need to complete additional steps for identity verification. Our Funding Navigation team can assist you. You can make an appointment with your Funding Navigator in Starfish.
