TITLE: Investment Procedures

650.10 Investment Instruments

• 650.10.01 SCD will use only approved Washington state licensed investment dealers or the Office of the State Treasurer to buy and sell investments.
• 650.10.02 No funds will be invested for terms longer than five (5) years.

650.20 General Responsibilities

• 650.20.01 The Vice Chancellor for Business and Finance will be responsible, along with staff, for the identification of the available funds, for the formulation and execution of a detailed investment plan, for the selection of instruments and investment advisors and for reporting the results and returns on a quarterly basis to the Chancellor.
