photo: portrait of man from Pushkar, India Our location is in Rajasthan, India, a desert region. Our project site is about 2 hours outside of Jaipur, known as the “Pink City.” Jaipur is a major tourist attraction in India, part of the “Golden Triangle,” which also includes Delhi and Agra (site of the Taj Mahal).

Global Impact participants will engage in medical/dental clinics in villages alongside Indian healthcare practitioners, provide healthcare education and help to further develop some community infrastructure. We will use camels for transportation to the villages, in addition to jeeps.

We will make a significant positive impact on village life through our sustainable, green projects such as building dry, composting toilets; installing worm bins and kitchen garden plots in villages.

There will be an optional weekend trip to the Taj Mahal!
