FINANCES / RESOURCES
There are many funding sources for study abroad. Students apply their college financial aid, apply for low interest
private bank loans and apply for scholarships. Some credit cards offer no interest for 12-18 months or extremely
low rates (be careful of the small print!). In addition, many students use popular fundraising techniques to bring in
additional resources to fund their programs. Please review the excellent Handbook produced by Study Abroad professionals.
Financial Aid
In general, if you have applied and are eligible to receive financial aid at
home, your aid should apply toward any program sponsored by a U.S.-based
institution. Please verify with the financial aid office.
