Mission Statement: to educate

The Seattle Community
Colleges
are two year public institutions,
established in 1967 and accredited by the Northwest Association of Schools
and Colleges. With more than 27,000 students each year, the Seattle Community
Colleges is the second largest institution of higher education in the
state of Washington. The District has 2,700 employees and offers 135 academic
and technical programs and over 100 contract training programs.
The District annually serves
more than 2,500 international students and professionals
