Student Actions at South Seattle

Students for Sustainability at South is a social service action organization with a focus on bringing awareness to environmental issues through advise, design and implementation of sustainable projects and curriculum pathways at South Seattle Community College and in Seattle Community Colleges district. We plan to provide service to the community at large and in social interaction by linking students with little or no sustainability knowledge to projects and organizations that are heavily involved in the concept of sustainability to enhance personal and professional knowledge, experience and skills. Projects will focus on energy systems, food systems, social justice systems, research, development, curriculum, and potential technological advances.
