The Seattle Community Colleges Chancellor invites applications for the president of Seattle Central Community College.
The college president is the chief executive officer of the college, reports to the district chancellor and is responsible for the operation and management of the college. College presidents are part of the Seattle Community Colleges leadership team, and serve as vice chancellors responsible for coordinating district-wide instruction, student services and advancement functions.
The district is the largest in the state, serving 52,000 students at three comprehensive colleges, a training institute and four specialized training centers. The combined student body is the most diverse in the state, representing more than 80 different first languages spoken in homes across Seattle. The city’s geographically beautiful setting is home to 600,000 residents and is a center for art, entertainment, sports and the Puget Sound Region’s vibrant culture of entrepreneurship and innovation.
