Parking / Commuting

Campus Parking

Parking is available at each of our campuses with the exception of SVI (limited availability) and is by permit only. Parking permits are available at the cashier’s office on each campus. Proof of paid enrollment for the appropriate quarter is required when purchasing a quarterly permit. For daily parking rates and more details about parking permits, refer to your campus:

Commuting

  • Ride the Bus:
    Students taking 10 or more qualified credits* can purchase a quarterly GoPass for $110 at the Cashier’s Office. If you take fewer than 10 credits, you can still purchase a GoPass for $145.
  • Take the Ferry, Community Transit or Pierce Transit:
    Students taking 10 or more qualified credits* qualify to receive a reimbursement of $60 per quarter.
  • Carpool:
    See Parking for special rates. Visit Ride Share, a free carpool service provided by Metro for further information.
  • Ride a bike:
    Each campus has bike racks. Be sure to lock and secure your bike. It is a good idea to register your bicycle’s serial number with the security office on your campus.
*NOTE: Classes in ABE, ESL, Continuing Education, Running Start and a few additional special categories do not count toward a GoPass or for reimbursement credits.
