Parking / Commuting | Metro / Mass Transit

GoPass

The GoPass lets you ride the Metro and Sound Transit buses anytime you wish. You can take the bus to campus-and for errands, shopping, and entertainment or to get to work.

If you're a student with 10 or more qualified credit hours, your $10 quarterly transportation fee means you can buy a GoPass, good for the entire quarter, for approximately $75 at the Cashier's Office. If you have fewer than 10 qualified credit hours, you can purchase your GoPass for approximately $120. A comparable Metro or Sound Transit bus pass costs between $135 and $189 or more. You'll be saving a lot.

Qualified credit hours exclude classes in ABE, ESL, Continuing Education, Running Start and a few additional special categories.

No Metro or Sound Transit service from your neighborhood? You may be able to catch a bus at a nearby Park & Ride lot. To find the Park & Ride nearest you, visit Metro website or call Metro at 553-3000.

Other Options

If you're a student with 10 or more qualified credit hours, you have other bus fare options:

Instead of purchasing a GoPass good for the entire quarter, you can choose a once-a-quarter $30 transit subsidy to buy a Metro monthly pass that lets you ride anytime on regular Metro service for one month. To take advantage of this opportunity you must purchase your bus pass at the bookstore on campus.

Check with your campus' Transportation Coordinator for a subsidy if you ride Community Transit, or Pierce Transit, or if you ride the Washington State Ferries as a walk-on, bicycle riding, or carpooling passenger.
