July 9 Last day to add/register — instructor permission required. Last day to change audit/credit status without instructor permission. Last day to withdraw without a "W" appearing on transcript and without instructor permission.
July 14 Last day to withdraw with 50% refund — instructor permission required only at Central.
Aug 7 Last day to change audit/credit status — instructor permission required. Last day to withdraw (no refund) — instructor permission required only at Central.

* The starting date of fall quarter has been changed to Tuesday, September 29 because Yom Kippur falls on the first day of school, which would have been September 28. Several other Fall 2009 dates have changed by one day as a result.
